Steve Rossell - Chief Executive

Steve is Chief Executive of Cranstoun, having taken up this post in 1998.

Prior to his association with Cranstoun, Steve had worked within the voluntary sector and substance misuse field, since 1988.

Steve was a Commissioner on the RSA sponsored Drugs Commission and also Chair of the European Association for the Treatment of Addiction (EATA). Currently, he is a Trustee of Podane Ruce UK.

Steve Rossell is a Member of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD), and a Fellow of the RSA (FRSA).

Martin Holly - Chief Finance Officer

Martin Holly is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with Touche Ross & Co.

Since qualifying he has held a number of senior financial positions in a variety of commercial settings and joined Cranstoun as Chief Finance Officer in April 2004. He currently leads on all financial, commercial and operating matters and is Cranstoun's Company Secretary.

Martin also has an MBA and is a member of the Charity Finance Director's Group.

Peter Glass - Director of Operations

Peter joined Cranstoun in 1984 and has worked in and managed a number of the organisation's services. Prior to his work with Cranstoun, Peter trained and practiced in nursing (mental health).

He was appointed Director of Services in 1998 and has subsequently developed and managed a range of both residential and community based drug services since. He currently leads on all operational service development and management.

Paul Middlemast - Head of Human Resources

Paul joined Cranstoun in February 2008.

Paul held senior appointments in the Civil Service, MSC (Training Agency) and two colleges of Further Education. In 2000, Paul was appointed Group Director of Human Resources for an international fundraising organisation, with a global remit for the group's companies in the UK, Europe, North America, Canada and Australasia. 

Paul is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, has an MA in Human Resources, PGDMS (HR) and is an International Member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
