Peter has steered Cranstoun’s continuous transformation since joining the organisation in 1984. His highly valued experience comes from working and managing high care residential, community and prison services, which paved the way, as director of operations, to develop and lead our ground-breaking fully integrated community recovery services. Peter brings with him Cranstoun’s history, in keeping service users at its heart, and puts it firmly amongst its plans for the future.

Kim built her career in voluntary and private sector organisations. Joining Cranstoun in 2014, she brought her passion and commitment to supporting and celebrating one of Cranstoun’s core strengths – its people. Leading this agenda for Cranstoun ensures our workforce is able to innovate to further its support to service users and be a part of developing Cranstoun’s future. Kim is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

Kim Coles – Executive Director – HR & Governance

Martin has held a number of senior financial positions in a variety of commercial settings prior to joining Cranstoun. His corporate leadership experience includes fiscal discipline, financial risk and risk management. Since joining in 2004, Martin has successfully steered Cranstoun through a changing budget landscape and continues to lead Cranstoun in maintaining a robust financial base in order to secure its continued growth. Martin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and also holds a diploma in charity accounting (DChA).

Martin Holly – Executive Director – Finance

Steve has worked with substance users for almost 30 years. He was the lead GP for substance misuse in Birmingham and was heavily involved in the city’s massive expansion of shared care. He was the RCGP’s West Midland Lead for substance misuse for seven years and since 2010 has been the Clinical Director of SMMGP and a columnist for DDN. Steve joined Cranstoun, as part of our merger with Swanswell, and leads on Cranstoun’s clinical management and quality governance.

Dr Steve Brinksman – Medical Director

Annie’s career has always been about supporting people to help them live the life they want. She joined the substance misuse field in 1996 as a GP liaison worker and has since managed a range of services across alcohol, drugs and floating support. This experience has built a remarkable knowledge of sector service delivery. Annie moved to Cranstoun, following the Swanswell merger, and now leads our Dudley, Sandwell and Worcestershire services.

Annie Steele – Director of Operations

Clare’s passion to make a difference, from working as a secondary school teacher to commissioning young people’s services through to playing her part for Cranstoun’s service users, has driven her to be bolder and better. Clare joined Cranstoun as a development manager in 2012 and progressed to her current role in 2017. She is proud to lead and manage a great team who are responsible for the organisation’s development, marketing and communications.

Clare Maryan – Director of Development and Innovation

Niamh’s wide-ranging expertise is drawn from developmental and senior management experience in the public and voluntary sectors, including managing and delivering a range of substance misuse services across London and the South East. Niamh’s professional networks across the region are extensive and she works proactively to support integrated partnership working amongst her services. Niamh leads our Sutton, Hounslow and Berkshire community services as well as our flagship inpatient detoxification service, City Roads.

Niamh Donnelly – Director of Operations

Wendy has many years of frontline and senior management experience in the fields of homelessness, housing and substance misuse, dating from 1989. Wendy joined Cranstoun in 2015, having been a director at a medium-sized housing association, and brought her pioneering, ‘can-do’ attitude. This is truly evident in the services she leads – Brighton & Hove, East Sussex Family and Carer Service and supported housing services in Birmingham and South London.

Wendy Taylor – Director of Operations

Jason is a Registered Nurse who has held senior roles in the NHS and charity sector, gaining experience in clinical, operational and governance roles. His clinical areas of expertise include sexual health, HIV and homelessness. Jason strongly believes that all service users should receive high-quality, safe care that makes a difference to their lives. He is currently Chair of the Royal College of Nursing Public Health Forum and previously was an appointed member to the Prime Minister’s Nursing and Care Quality Forum.
