Relief Workers
Recovery and Integration Worker

Location: The Gallery - Dudley
Full time permanent - 21 hours per week
Salary Range: £19,126 - £25,472 per annum Pro-rata
The Gallery is a community recovery centre which aims to
supplement traditional treatment services by providing access to a
range of recovery oriented activities such as, arts, personal
development, peer support, individual and group empowerment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Recovery and
Integration Worker with a good knowledge of drug and alcohol users,
or a similar client group, to undertake range of access and
engagement and recovery promotional work.
An essential part of your role will be working with the
community making contact and interacting with clients, their
family, friends and anyone affected by drugs and/or alcohol.
The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and will be
a key player in the day-to-day delivery of services, as well as the
future development of the project. Excellent communication skills
are required together with an ability to build effective working
relationships with both colleagues and external agencies.
This post may involve occasional evening and/or weekend
cover.

DIP Worker - Maternity Cover (upto and including 6
months)

Full time fixed term contract - 35 hours per week
SalaryRange: £19,126 - £25,472 per
annum
Provide the full range of DIP Services in line with agreed
targets and objectives in an interagency approach within Criminal
Justice; including Prison in-reach, case management, Outreach and
working with Prolific and Priority Offender & High Crime
Causing User schemes.
You will be working within Dudley Borough and Midland Prisons,
in a variety of satellite venues (e.g. Prisons, Satellite locations
and Drug Service Buildings) with the aim of enabling change and
reducing client's substance use and associated harm and crime.
Whilst experience of working with drug users and/or
disadvantaged groups is desirable, this post is an ideal
opportunity for initial entry to employment within the drug/alcohol
field.
There will be a requirement to work 'out of hours' shifts.
The use of a vehicle, though not essential, would be of an
advantage.
Applicants should be competent communicators and be comfortable
and enthusiastic, both with our client group and with working in
partnership with our colleagues in the Criminal Justice System.

Project Workers - CDA

Project Worker
Full Time Fixed Term contract - 35 hours
per week
Salary Range - £19,126 - £25,472
Cranstoun Structured Day Service is a community service
supporting recovery from drug and alcohol problems. We provide a
range of group work, complimentary therapies, creative skills
workshops as well as one to one support.
We are a peer-supported service, where service-users, staff and
volunteers work in partnership to create daily activities in an
informal setting with café style reception facilities.
We are looking for two self motivated staff with a good
understanding of Recovery (whether through personal, professional
or familial experience), who enjoy the challenge of working with
people recovering from substance-misuse problems. Groupwork and
intervention experience, particularly in Brief therapies and / or
behavioural models such as ACT, is an advantage as are
transferrable skills, varied life experience and relevant
training.
If you can walk alongside rather than lead, and support rather
than rescue, we need you!
