Based on your answers, and if you’re drinking less than 14 units per week, you are at a low risk of harming your health.
If you’re a man, you increase your risk if you sometimes drink 8 units or more on a single occasion.
If you’re a woman, you increase your risk if you sometimes drink 6 units or more on a single occasion.
It may be helpful to complete this tool in the future, just to check you’re still drinking within the Chief Medical Officers’ low risk drinking guidelines.
If you live in Sandwell and are thinking about making changes to your drinking, you are able to access an app which can identify how much you are drinking and offers advice on how you can cut down. The Lower my Drinking app can be downloaded through Google Play or iTunes. The app is available in both English and Polish.
