Richard Pertwee – Chair

After seeing the effects of addiction, Richard worked as a volunteer at a local charity needle exchange. When Cranstoun advertised for a new Trustee from a legal background, Richard couldn’t resist drawing all the threads together. Richard Pertwee was a lawyer, who specialised in helping clients to buy and sell businesses. After rising to become Managing Partner at Taylor Wessing in 2006 and hitting the dizzy age of 50, he decided to go part-time and to do more in the voluntary sector. Richard also sat as a Magistrate in Portsmouth and in the Youth Court in Fareham. Richard was appointed Chair of Cranstoun’s Board in November 2015.
