With the introduction and spread of COVID-19 there can be no doubt we are entering a period of severe uncertainty, the parameters of which are unknown and the situation changing almost daily. Cranstoun, like all other employing organisations has a duty of care to its employees and its service users.
We will aim to provide regular updates on the company website and social media platforms, specific to Cranstoun’s services and links to other sources of general information.
Cranstoun’s Senior Management Team are in regular communication and we have agreed the following, applicable until further notice.
Central Services will be working on a virtual basis with a skeleton staff presence day to day.
A call divert system is in place, so any HR, finance and admin queries will be picked up as usual.
Operational, clinical and governance directors will be ‘on call’ within working hours, via email and phone. Information exchange requirements regarding activity and services offered in each locality should be forwarded directly to respective service managers.
The current situation is: Our overall intention is to maintain services as much as possible, but they will be operating on reduced capacity. We therefore have decided to offer mainly phone-based and virtual interventions. Open Access will not be offered, and service users should be asked to phone prior to attending the service.
Staff who fall into identified vulnerability groups will be supported, where possible, to work from home.
