Case Manager - The Drive Project, Worcestershire (804) Cranstoun

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the organisation to manage the delivery of the Drive Project across Worcestershire.

Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.

As Case Manager, you will strive to make contact and work on a one to one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioral change and link to complementary services.

To do this, you will work alongside existing agencies to design a coordinated, intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risks and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviors.

You will work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to working within a multi disciplinary team and will have will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse, and/or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

This position will work with both male and female service users and experience of working with both genders is therefore desirable.

We are looking to appoint to this role as soon as possible to allow for a smooth mobilisation of service. Extensive training will be provided which will include the opportunity to gain accreditation for working with perpetrators of DVA. This is an initial Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2020 with an option to then extend until 2022.  We will consider applications for potential secondments subject to your employing organisation being in agreement.

Police vetting will be undertaken with the successful candidate.
