Cranstoun Sandwell provides a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol. The preventative and self help approach of the service compliments the established treatment and recovery interventions delivered across the borough ensuring the service caters for all levels of need.

Our skilled and compassionate people work closely with services users and their families to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide.

As our Clinical Lead, you will need a professional qualification (Non-Medical Prescriber, Registered General Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse, Pharmacist, GP) with up to date registration and experience of working with highly complex individuals who use alcohol / substances. We are looking for someone that can lead their team of clinicians strongly and be confident in providing clinical leadership, development and support to GPs across the borough involving them in the provision of treatment services.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the issues affecting people with substance misuse and an awareness of local issues that affect individuals and families in Sandwell. The individual should be able to contribute to the strategic development of our service and demonstrate skills to ensure that the high quality care delivered is specific and evidence based, adhering to service user’s needs.

Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential and in addition the confidence to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
