Cranstoun City Roads provides a specialist residential service which provides medically supervised alcohol and drug detoxification programmes for people aged 18 and above. It is a place of safety for those whose lives are in danger of spiralling out of control and are at risk.
At City Roads, people can take the opportunity to make sense of the situation they are in and start making necessary changes that will enable them to take control of their lives. During their stay, people will undergo an individually assessed detoxification or stabilisation programme.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team in a residential service, you will provide high quality, individual care to Service Users throughout their stay. This will include assessments, formulation, implementation and evaluation of care plans, 1:1 support and group work to assist clients admitted as a part of a planned process and emergency admissions.
You will need a commitment and understanding of working with this service user group and a willingness to work within a shift rotation. These 13 average per month mixed shifts consist of day, night and weekend working, over a four week period (12-hour shifts from 8am to 8.15pm or 8pm to 8.15am).
