This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a new team working closely with GP’s offering social prescribing to young people across the Dudley borough. Social prescribing empowers people to take control of their health and wellbeing giving time and focus on ‘what matters to me’ taking a holistic approach, connecting people to diverse community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support.
These exciting new roles will be part of the here4YOUth centre which is the integrated young people’s service in Dudley. The service provides universal, targeted and specialist advice and support to meet the needs of young people, who require interventions that will promote their wellbeing, improve their resilience and provide treatment and therapy for a range of risk taking behaviours such as substance misuse and sexual health.
The post holder will be expected to take part in one late evening per week (until 7.00pm)
