This exciting new role is part of the Partners in Change project, a collaboration between Children’s Social Services, Mental Health Services and Pavilions Drug and Alcohol Service. The aims are to support multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention for children in need and family members as soon as they enter the social care system.
The project consists of mental health and substance misuse specialists working within children social services teams in Brighton and Hove to skill up and offer guidance to social workers to improve the support provided to families to affect change. The role will manage the substance misuse service as part of Partners in Change to build bridges between social workers, families and Pavilions.
The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse/social worker, have management experience and extensive experience of working in the field, particularly with families. Previous experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
