We offer a wide range of services across England, including community-based outreach, treatment and recovery, detox, supported housing, and specialist services for young people and families and carers. We are looking to appoint a caterer to prepare and provide nutritious meals to our residents at weekends. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience or understanding within a commercial or business setting. They will also be Food Hygiene Certified – Level 2 as a minimum, with NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.

We are also looking for someone who is an excellent communicator; you will maintain a professional relationship within the service with both staff and residents. This will include being responsive to residents diverse cultural and dietary requirements, and a commitment to providing a quality service.

Candidates will be familiar with reporting and recording information in a timely and accurate manner. You will also have a shared responsibility with the senior caterer that all information is appropriately handed over. You will carry out good food management, stock control, temperature controls and HACCP documentation according to Food Hygiene regulations and Health and Safety policies and procedures. In addition to this, you will be supporting your line manager to maintain the annual catering budget within agreed parameters.
