Ritherdon Road is an alcohol and drug supported housing project for up to six people. This service is for people aged 18 to 65 living in Wandsworth.

You must have achieved abstinence from drugs and alcohol and have had three to six months of structured treatment at a service. We take clients on license and community orders.

You will normally stay at this service for six to 18 months and will be expected to engage in education, training or employment activities during your stay at the service.

Services offered:

  • Weekly key work meetings for six weeks, then fortnightly, then monthly
  • Support plan and risk assessments, which are reviewed at three months
  • Access to education, training and employment services
  • Monthly residents’ meetings
  • Support to maintain tenancy
  • Advice and guidance on developing life skills
  • Assistance to overcome social exclusion, providing information on community facilities and services available
  • Advice, advocacy and liaison
  • Emotional support
  • Referral to other services, e.g. health, counselling, drug and alcohol day treatment programmes (if a lapse occurs)
  • Help with managing personal budgets or debt
  • Assistance to claim appropriate benefits
  • Monitoring health and wellbeing support in relation to primary health care and mental health services
  • Peer support
  • Supporting service users to have involvement in the service
  • Support in complying with statutory orders and related processes
  • Support to move onto more independent living e.g. connection to utilities, repairs, advice and assistance in acquiring essential household items
  • Referral to floating support when moving to independent accommodation
  • Gym access at our West Hill service
