RITHERDON

Ritherdon Road is an alcohol and drug supported housing project for up to six people. This service is for people aged 18 to 65 living in Wandsworth.

You must have achieved abstinence from drugs and alcohol and have had three to six months of structured treatment at a service. We take clients on license and community orders.

You will normally stay at this service for six to 18 months and will be expected to engage in education, training or employment activities during your stay at the service.

Assistance to overcome social exclusion, providing information on community facilities and services available

Supporting service users to have involvement in the service

Support plan and risk assessments, which are reviewed at three months

Monthly residents’ meetings

Advice and guidance on developing life skills

Advice, advocacy and liaison

Referral to other services, e.g. health, counselling, drug and alcohol day treatment programmes (if a lapse occurs)

Monitoring health and well being support in relation to primary health care and mental health services

Z

Support to move onto more independent living e.g. connection to utilities, repairs, advice and assistance in acquiring essential household items

Z

Referral to floating support when moving to independent accommodation
